Skooks Think We Should NOT Get Involved With Syria

Even though this doesn't directly impact Schuylkill County, the issue with the United States getting involved with Syria using chemical weapons has become a hot topic.  At some point, our United States Representatives and Senators will be taking a vote on whether the United States should do something about Syria.

Our elected officials are to represent us and our views, so we asked our readers on our Facebook page the other day what we should we do about Syria?

Below are some of the responses we received

"Hell no stay out of their problems and work on our own problems. Why go and waste our money on something we have nothing to do with. You don't see any other country offering to get involved with their problems. Just makes no sense to do it at all. STAY OUT OF THERE!!!!!"

A thousand times... NO!

Yea we should worry about our problems here first theres kids who go hungry or with no clothes or are abused . And people without jobs cmon now worry about here first!

Clean off our own doorstep before butting in eles where. The tragic events in Syria are horrible but the US isnt going to stop it after thousands of years of them killing each other.

No, we the USA have lost too many Soldiers to these Animals. We need to take care of our own.
