Amber Alert Cancelled After Child Found Safe

Last evening, an Amber Alert was issued for Kayleigh Simcsuk, from Palmerton, Carbon County after it was reported to police that she was abducted by Timothy Simcsuk.

Around 10:45pm, the Amber Alert was cancelled after police in the Quakertown area received the Amber Alert and found the mini-van they were described as being in, were found in a motel parking lot.

Simcsuk is said to be locked up in the Quakertown area on parole violations and will face more charges when he is sent back to Carbon County
