Around 7:30am, Tuesday crews were called to the the 200 Block on Ferguson Street in Shenandoah.  When crews arrived they found the double block home fully engulfed in flames.  It is being reported that one side was vacant while the other side, the owner of the home was not home at the time.

Along with fighting the fire, crews battled extremely low temperatures while fighting the blaze.  Ryan Twp. Rescue was called to the scene to aid in warming the responders fighting the fire.

There was information available if there were any injuries. An initial report was that a county official was called to the scene but that turned out to be false.

No word as to what caused the fire but the State Fire Marshall is investigating the cause.
