WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON THURSDAY TO 7 AM EST FRIDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON THURSDAY TO 7 AM EST FRIDAY.

* LOCATIONS...MID SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...3 TO 6 INCHES OF SNOW.

* TIMING...THE PERIOD OF MOST INTENSE SNOW WILL BE FROM THURSDAY AFTERNOON INTO THURSDAY NIGHT.

* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL DUE TO SNOW COVERED ROADS AND REDUCED VISIBILITY.

* WINDS...NORTHEAST 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...FALLING INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS AND LOW TEENS WITH SUB-ZERO WIND CHILLS BY FRIDAY MORNING.
