"Skook State of Mind" Official Video Released

Matt Freiler, of Deer Lake, the man behind the "Skook State of Mind" video that went viral earlier this month, has finally released an official video.

The song written with lyrics that cover items like Yuengling to churches on ever corner to Heislers, went viral after Freiler shared the video with his friends on Facebook.

To date, the video has been shared over 5,000 times.

The official video was directed by Ryan Spence.

When asked to comment on the newly released video, this is what Freiler had to say.

"This has probably been the coolest thing to ever happen to me. I'm still in shock that something I never thought would go anywhere turned into a visual masterpiece. When Ryan (my director) messaged me about doing a music video, I never pictured it to be as genius as it is. You just gotta never forget where you came from. I love this whole thing cause it gives people a good laugh and a reminder of the place they call home. The video really brings that vibe out. Also, I want to make sure that everyone is keeping Mikey Allen in their thoughts and prayers as he's giving everything he has to fight back from his injury. That's what's most important right now around here."
