Mahanoy Twp. and Mahanoy City Police Seize Heroin and Arrest 5 Individuals on Drug Related Charges

According to the Mahanoy City Police Department's Facebook Page, the township's department in conjunction with the Mahanoy City Police Department arrested 5 individuals on May19th on drug related charges

In total 67 bags of heroin were seized.

The following individual were arraigned by the on-call duty Magistrate Christine Hale and committed to Schuylkill County Prison.

Kyle Merenda, Barnesville, Charged with possession and intent to deliver, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia

George Kraynak, Hazleton,  Charged with possession and intent to deliver, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia

Michael Price, Mahanoy City, charged theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property

Molly McGuire, Mahanoy City, Charged with unlawful delivery or manufacture of a controlled substance, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia

Richele Robinson, Hazleton, charged with possession with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia
