THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR A PORTION OF CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA... INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...ADAMS...CUMBERLAND...DAUPHIN... FRANKLIN...LANCASTER...LEBANON...PERRY...SCHUYLKILL AND YORK COUNTIES.

* FROM 10 AM EDT THIS MORNING THROUGH THIS EVENING.

* RECENT RAINFALL HAS LEFT THE GROUND VERY WET IN PORTIONS OF THE AREA. MORE HEAVY RAIN IS EXPECTED AS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOP AGAIN TODAY. SOME OF THE STORMS LATE THIS MORNING AND THIS AFTERNOON COULD MAKE MORE THAN AN INCH OF RAIN IN LESS THAN AN HOUR...AND MANY AREAS COULD SEE MORE THAN ONE THUNDERSTORM TODAY. THEREFORE...FLASH FLOODING IS POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY IN AREAS WHICH HAVE HAD HEAVY RAIN OVER THE PAST FEW DAYS.
