FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EDT WEDNESDAY...


THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR A PORTION OF CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA... INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...ADAMS...COLUMBIA... CUMBERLAND...DAUPHIN...JUNIATA...LANCASTER...LEBANON... MONTOUR...NORTHUMBERLAND...PERRY...SCHUYLKILL...SNYDER... SOUTHERN LYCOMING...UNION AND YORK.

* UNTIL 6 AM EDT WEDNESDAY

* ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL FROM A SLOW MOVING COLD FRONT WILL TRACK OVER AREAS WHICH HAVE SEEN IN EXCESS OF TWO TO THREE INCHES OF RAINFALL OVER THE PAST 24 HOURS. ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE SOME STREAMS AND CREEKS TO OVERFLOW THEIR BANKS OVERNIGHT.
