Mahanoy City Fire Company Gets New Firetruck After Other was Destroyed

On Friday, the Mahanoy City Hook and Ladder received their new aerial truck after their other truck was destroyed in a fire last year.


The truck is a refurbished Emergency One Custom 75-foot Quint from Southampton Fire Company No. 1, Southampton, Bucks County.

Their previous truck and firehouse was destroyed in a fire in August of 2013.

Their new truck is currently being housed at the West End Fire Company while a new firehouse is built for the company.
