The Minersville Police Department is seeking public assistance in identifying a subject involved in a pursuit with police. On August 26, 2014 at approximately noon, a white male was operating a yellow ATV, possibly a Suzuki, west on the Seltzer Highway near River Street when a patrol car encountered him. The male operator fled from police, nearly striking oncoming traffic and running over sidewalks to elude police. The male operator is described as approximately 5'9", medium build, medium beard with a longer goatee area. Anyone with information on the possible identity of this male is asked to contact MPD at 544-6212 or PM us on here. All information will remain confidential. Thank you.
