By:  Mark Marek, Coal Region Connections

What began as Koziar's Christmas House in 1948 has now grown into Koziar's Christmas Village. Bill & Grace Koziar & their children kept adding to their display down through the decades. Today, over 1/2 million lights adorn the buildings, barn, gift houses, trees, fences, & walkways. In addition to a hand-crafted indoor train display & miniature village, Koziar's has added a outdoor train display with multiple track lines, station, & village this season.

Koziar's is a great place for parents & grandparents to take the kids. My kids were absolutely thrilled with their visit when they were young.

Driving up a darkened country road & coming over that last hill, you are simply stunned by the magnificent blaze of lights reflecting off the lake.

Koziar's is now open for their 67th Christmas season. Information, hours, & directions can be found at www.koziarschristmasvillage.com. If you need a little boost to get into the Christmas spirit & mood, Koziar's Christmas Village will definitely provide the necessary inspiration-as seen in the pictures below.
