Schuylkill County Issued Hazardous Weather Outlook

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Schuylkill County


THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

A WEAK WAVE OF LOW PRESSURE OVER THE CAROLINAS LATE THIS AFTERNOON WILL RIDE NORTHEAST AND OFF THE MID ATLANTIC COAST TONIGHT. THIS WEATHER FEATURE WILL BRING A SEVERAL HOUR PERIOD OF LIGHT MIXED PRECIPITATION LATE THIS AFTERNOON...WHICH WILL CHANGE TO LIGHT SNOW FOR A FEW HOURS THIS EVENING. SNOW ACCUMULATION OF A COATING TO ONE INCH COULD ICE-UP UNTREATED ROADS AND SIDEWALKS AFTER DARK.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

THE PROBABILITY OF WIDESPREAD HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS LOW.
