Wet, Not White, Christmas on the Way

For those of you asking for a White Christmas in 2014, Santa won't be bringing it this year.

According to the National Weather Service Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in Schuylkill County is looking to be wet.

Christmas Eve's forecast is calling for a 100% chance of rain with showers in the forecast with precipitation amounts ranging from 1/2 to 3/4 inch of rain.  The high for the day ranging in the mid 50's.

Christmas Eve night might be rough for Santa with more showers and even the possibility of a thunderstorm.  There is the possibility of wind gusts up to 25mph as well.  Additional rain amounts of another 1/4 to 1/2 inch of rain is possible.

Christmas morning still looks wet with a chance of showers but after noon the rain will stop and leave us with cloudy skies.  The chance for rain is only 20%.
