ORWIGSBURG - Celebrating one year since its return to the market, Yuengling’s Ice Cream is primed for continued growth in 2015. Since returning, the ice cream’s availability grew from an initial limited distribution in central Pennsylvania and several other states, to a significant brand position with major retailers in a large number of states.“This took off incredibly fast and all is going according to plan,” said David Yuengling, president of Yuengling’s Ice Cream. “Demand initially grew so quickly that stores were selling out faster than they could order it. We’re experiencing continued exponential growth with a variety of retailers in all markets, and have several new items hitting the shelves in March, which we are sure will become favorites.”
Already a strong year – simply because of production – 2014 exceeded production goals and expectations, with 2015 poised to continue along the path. In addition to its launch and production of 10 all-natural premium ice cream flavors, it:
- Donated products to more than 30 charities and organizations
- Scooped ice cream at more than 20 major events, sampling to nearly 100,000 people
- Continued growth with the introduction of two seasonal flavors – Spiced Pumpkin Roll and Peppermint Crunch
Yuengling’s Ice Cream will also host a birthday party on January 16 from 5-7 p.m. at Roma Pizza in Pottsville, PA. Fans who stop by will be treated to free cake and, of course, Yuengling’s Ice Cream. There will also be forms at the event to enter the Free Ice Cream for a Year Contest.
