Around 4:00pm, Route 61 northbound was shutdown for a jackknifed tractor trailer accident involving multiple vehicle.
There are no injuries reported.
The highway is shutdown at Wal-Mart in St. Clair. Avoid the area if possible.
As of 4:40pm, the road was still closed.
Update: Some of our followers reported the road opened around 6:15pm.
