Man Dies After Car Falls Off Ramps

Around 11:45am, Tuesday emergency personnel were called to 100 block of Clay Street in Tamaqua for a person trapped under a vehicle.

The victim's name has not been released but it is reported that they were working underneath a vehicle fell off the ramps it was on.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

UPDATE:  3:30PM - The Republican Herald has released the victim's name as Paul Derr, of Tamaqua.

RETRACTION:  Skook News originally reported that the car was on a jack and fell off.  We apologize for the error.
