Upcoming Fall Knoebels' Events

Elysburg, PA – Though Labor Day weekend marks the end of the main season for America’s largest free-admission amusement park, there’s still plenty of fun in store for Knoebels Amusement Resort visitors during September and October. With that being said, Knoebels is excited to announce its fall lineup of events, which includes: September weekends, Doggie Dive, Covered Bridge Festival, Knoebel Lumber 5K, Phoenix Phall Phunfest and Hallo-Fun.

The event dates and times, as well as a brief description of each include:

September Weekends: In addition to being open daily September 1 through 7, Knoebels will be open the weekends of September 12 (noon-8:00 p.m.) and 13 (noon-6:00 p.m. or later – closing dictated by weather and crowd), 19 (noon-8:00 p.m.) and 20 (noon-6:00 p.m. or later – closing dictated by weather and crowd), and 26 (noon-8:00 p.m.) and 27 (11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.). Ride-all-day passes are available September days of operation with the exception of September 6 and 7. The park is closed the weekend of October 3 and 4.

On September 26, Knoebels will offer a “buy one today, get one in May” deal, where guests who purchase a ride-all-day pass for September 26 will receive a free pass to use any day ride-all-day passes are offered in May of 2016.

Doggie Dive: Sunday, September 13, 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. - Knoebels Amusement Resort will host its third annual Doggie Dive at its Crystal Pool. Proceeds from the event will benefit a local animal shelter. In addition to the dive itself, guests can take part in basket raffles, a bake sale, and enjoy a visit from Knoebels’ mascots. Early registration is $8 per dog, or $10 per dog on the day of the event. Human guests are invited to the event at no charge, as the pool will be closed for the regular season. In order to ensure a safe event, rabies tags and licenses are required for all dogs, all dogs must have collars on, and leashes must be on hand by owner. There is a limit of one dog per handler, and we ask that aggressive dogs do not attend the event. Pre-approved vendors can purchase a 10’x10’ booth for $25 (non-profits are free). Space is limited and vendors are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Vendors can request electricity for an additional $10. Registration forms can be found at www.knoebels.com/events.
