Fire Helmets Found in Cemetery

The Pennsylvania State Police are looking for the owners of fire helmets found in a cemetery.


According to WFMZ, The Pennsylvania State Police in Schuylkill Haven is looking for the owners of three fire helmets found in a pile of brush in the East Street Cemetary in Port Carbon.

The helmets are described as follows:
  • one helmet is black with reflective stickers, a face shield and Stonington across the stop
  • second helmet, yellow with a face shield and West Fairview across the top
  • third helmet, black with an NYPD 9/11 sticker.
NOTE:  Police already contacted the Stonington Fire Department in Northumberland County and they reported they did not own it.

The helmets were found on December 18th.
