Truck Stop Robbed at Gunpoint Saturday Morning
A Pine Grove truck stop was robbed at gunpoint Saturday morning.
According to the Republican Herald, the Raceway Truckstop in Tremont Township was robbed by a man with a shotgun early Saturday morning.
The man shot through the front door of the restaurant, then demanded money. After given money, the suspect then fled on foot towards Interstate 81.
The suspect is described as being between 6-feet and 6-feet 3-inches tall with light brown hair. He was reported to have been wearing a black mask, blue jeans, black sneakers and a green, red and blue sweatshirt.
Anyone with information regarding the incident should call State Police at Schuylkill Haven at 570-739-1330.
