The fire call originally came is as 537 East Mahanoy Avenue in the borough but was located at 529 and 527 East Mahanoy Ave.
Early reports were of possible entrapment.
UPDATE (9:15AM) - All residents were able to escape with 2 people that needed to be rescued. The 2 that were rescued were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
2 home were reported to have been damaged in the fire with 6 total victims.
