After the first crews arrived, the fire was upgraded to a 2nd alarm. A tanker task force was also requested.
After about 10 minutes on scene, crews were able to contain the fire to one area but crews are still responding.
The fire is reported to be located at Harsco Minerals.
Fire units from Orwigsburg, Deer Lake, Landingville, Auburn, and Schuylkill Haven were called to the scene.
