Overnight Fire Destroys Homes; One Person Suffers Burns

Around 12:30am, Tuesday, fire crews were call to 512 Pine Hill Street, Minersville for a working structure structure fire.

When crews arrived they fire coming from the second floor of the home.

One person was reported to have been burned in the fire and was flown to an area hospital.

The fire was reported to have reached a 3rd alarm and was under control in about an hour.  The homes located at 508, 510, 12, and 514 all sustained damage.

Fire crews from surrounding communities responded to aide in fighting the fire.

No cause has been determined at this time on what started the fire.
