Police File Charges for Armed Robbery of Pharmacy

Ashland Borough Police have filed charges on Jason Pryce, Ashland, for the October 27th, 2015 armed robbery of Bracey's Pharmacy.

According to police, the robbery took place around 4:45pm where 1,164 Oxycodone tablets were stolen.

Police suspected Pryce from the day of the robbery, but had to process evidence and gather statements from witnesses whcih were necessary for the prosecution prior to the charges to be filed.

A warrant has been issued for Pryce who is currently being held in the Pennsylvania State Prison System for unrelated crimes.

Pryce is to be arraigned at a later date by Magisterial District Judge Christina Hale.

Pryce is facing charges of robbery, theft, making terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault, and possession of a controlled substance

During the original call, Ashland Police were assisted by Frackville Police, Pennsylvania State Police from Frackville, Schuylkill County Sheriff's Office, Butler Township Police, and the Schuylkill County Adult Probation Office.
