Man Facing Drug Charges

Late Sunday Brian Cyr, 27, of Frackville was arrested by Mahanoy City Police Officers Johnson and Rentschler and charged with numerous drug offenses.

Cyr was found to be in possession of $2,734.00, Methamphetamine, Heroin, Marijuana, and numerous prescribed medications along with scales, cellphones, and other drug paraphernalia.

Cyr was charged with 8 counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, 8 counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI, and driving while license is suspended.  Cyr was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Kilker and committed to Schuylkill County Prison on $50,000 straight cash bail.
