Identity of One of the Victims Released in Fatal Pedestrian Accidents

(06/05/16) One of the victims has been identified in the two separate fatal pedestrian accidents Saturday evening in Schuylkill County.

Between 10:30pm and 11:00pm emergency personnel were called to the southbound lanes of Interstate 81 at Milemarker 133 for reports of a pedestrian struck.

Also within that time, crews were called to Route 924 between Shenandoah Heights and Brandonville for a pedestrian struck.

In the Interstate 81 incident, Ray Milosh, 40, of Ringtown has been identified as the person who died after being struck by a passing SUV near the Delano Exit.  Milosh's vehicle was disabled where he ended up in the right lane of the Interstate where he was struck.  The driver of the passing vehicle reported attempted to swerve to miss Milosh.

Milosh was pronounced dead at the scene by Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner David Truskowsky.

The identity of the victim of the Route 924 incident has not been released, but it was reported that the victim was male.
