The annual Sol Lipton Half Marathon and 5K races will be held this Sunday, September 4, 2016. Due to this event the following temporary parking and traffic restrictions will be in effect on the date of the event:
Beginning at 6:00ams until approximately 12:00pm there will be no parking on North Centre Street from Harrison Street to West Norwegian Street, and on Laurel Boulevard from North Centre Street to Progress Ave.
Beginning at 7:30am motor vehicle traffic restrictions will be in effect on the following roadways:
Progress Avenue, North Centre Street, Laurel Boulevard, N. 16th Street, Maple Avenue, Westwood Road, Wood Glen Road, First Avenue, Walter Griffith Avenue, Peacock Street, Terry Reiley Way, East Railroad Street, and Atlantic Avenue.
Motorists are asked to plan ahead and are thanked for their cooperation.
