BERKS COUNTY - The Pennsylvania State Police responded to an overdose in Shoemakersville, Berks County, around 11:00am Friday.
According to Police, A 45 year old male from Orwigsburg overdosed on heroine in the back seat of a vehicle. Two other Individuals, from Saint Clair, were in the vehicle at the time as well and called 911 when the male became unresponsäve.
Police also reported a one year old child was also in the back of the vehicle in a car seat.
The individuals remained with the unresponsive male and CPR was performed until EMS personnel arrived. The male was revived and transported to a local hospital.
No charges are being filed due to Title 35 P.S. 780-113.7 which grants immunity based on an overdose response.

BERKS COUNTY - On Sunday, The Pennsylvania State Police in Reading was dispatched to the
Cab Motel, 926 Gravel Pike, Hereford Twp, Berks County, after a male identified as David Lee Moyer was found unresponsive. Moyer was later pronounced dead.
According to Police, drug paraphernalia was observed within the room. The investigation into the death is still ongoing.
