One Person Injured In Early Morning Crash on Interstate 81

One person was flown after a crash on Interstate 81 early Saturday Morning.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, Stephen Morris, 25, of Dunmore was traveling southbound on Interstate 81 around 1:10am near Milemarker 138.5.

According to Police, Morris was driving his Jeep Grand Cherokee when he lost control traveled along the left berm of the road, striking and knocking down a road sign then traveling back across the highway and resting on the right hand side of the road.

Morris exited his vehicle and later collapsed.

McAdoo Fire and Ambulance responded with the Pennsylvania State Police.  McAdoo Ambulance transported Morris to a waiting Medivac and was flown to Lehigh Valley Medical Center (Cedar Crest) with serious injuries.
