Pennsylvania State Trooper Shot and Killed Friday Evening in Huntingdon County; Suspect Still at Large

The Pennsylvania State Police announced early Saturday that a trooper was shot and killed Friday evening.

According to a release, Trooper Landon Weaver was tragically shot and killed while investigating a domestic-related incident at a home on Bakers Hollow Road in Juniata Township, Huntingdon County around 6:30 p.m.

He becomes the 97th member of the Pennsylvania State Police to be killed in the line of duty.

Police are still looking for the suspect, who they have identified as Jason Robinson, 32, and are considering him armed and dangerous. It is believed that his hair is currently dyed purple. Anyone coming into contact with him should call 911 immediately.

UPDATE:  11:15am,  The Pennsylvania State Police have announced that the suspect, Jason Robinson was found dead.  No other details on how he died.  More information when it is available.
