Jeremy A. Snyder, 35 years of age of Railroad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at home.

Born Sunday, May 17, 1981 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania, the son of Randy Snyder of Barnesville, and Paula (Truskey) Steirer, of Quakake. He was the husband of Christine L. (Pardel) Snyder, and is also survived by; son Connor Snyder; brothers, Brandon Snyder of Pottsville, Jamie Snyder and his wife Jeannie of Coaldale; step daughters, Brittany Pester, Jade Pradel, Savannah Alfaro; three step grandchildren; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Snyder of Tamaqua; step mother Joanne L. Snyder. Many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive Jeremy.

A Tamaqua High School graduate, Jeremy worked as a roofer, and was certified as a pyro technician.

Predeceased by step daughters, Nicole Pester, and Samantha Durling.

Thomas J. Purcell, 77 years of age of Summer Valley Road, New Ringgold, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016 due to injuries sustained from a devastating fire at his home in East Brunswick Township.

Widower of Gladys J. (Sterner) Purcell who passed away on Sept. 3, 2015, He is survived by; daughters, Luann Purcell of Willow Springs, MO and Kim J. Purcell of New Ringgold; brothers, Vincent Purcell of Forestville, James Purcell of Forestville, Francis Purcell and his wife Liz of Yorkville, Alfred Purcell and his wife Joann of Pottsville; sisters, Mrs. Mary Polinski and her husband Ted of Forestville, Mrs. Rose Moyer of St. Clair, and Mrs. Rhoda Wehr of Forestville, Mrs. Theresa Walsh of Pottsville; 4 grand children; 3 great grand children.

Catholic by faith, Tom worked for Hahns Construction of Birdsboro. He was an avid outdoorsman, and was devoted to his family.

Born Monday, February 27, 1939 in Forestville, Pennsylvania the son of the late Thomas J. Purcell, Sr., and Frnaces (Angelo) Purcell. Tom was also predeceased by a brother, William Purcell.

A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 3, 2017 at 11 o'clock AM from the funeral home. Friends shall be received at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. until time of services.

Interment will be in Drehersville Evangelical Cemetery, Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania.

Veronica L. Trabosh, 95, a resident of Rosewood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, passed away Friday at Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill- East, Pottsville.

Born in Minersville on April 15, 1921, Veronica was the daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Kaminsky) Falkowski.

She was a former member of St. Joseph RC Church and attended Minersville Catholic Schools. She worked as a seamstress. Veronica most enjoyed being a devoted mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph R. Trabosh in 1993 and siblings Catherine Cooch, Genevieve Rowcotsky, Raymond Falkowski, Joseph Falkowski, and Stanley Falkowski.

She is survived by her son Joseph M. Trabosh, husband of Betty, Pottsville; her granddaughter Dr. Valerie A. Trabosh-DiVito, wife of Dr. Kyle Divito, Burkittsville, MD; twin great grandchildren, Kennedy and Sawyer DiVito, Burkittsville, MD; and a brother, John Falkowski, Morton, PA; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 W. Market St., Pottsville. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private in St. Joseph Cemetery, Pottsville.
