STS to Introduce Patriotic Bus Wraps

POTTSVILLE, PA – The Schuylkill Transportation System (STS) announces that for the first time since its inception in 1981, they have secured an advertising campaign in conjunction with CACL Financial located at 1800 W Market Street in Pottsville that will feature three full size, low floor, Gillig vehicles completely wrapped with sharp patriotic red, white and blue design for use along fixed bus routes. STS is anticipating the bus wraps to be unveiled to the general public the week of December 19 or sooner.

According to the Outdoor Advertising Association of America (OAAA) on average the US population spends two hours per day on the road. Vehicle advertising generates up to 70,000 impressions on day/vehicle. Mobile advertising costs only a fraction of TV, Radio, Print or conventional billboards.

The Schuylkill Transportation System operates ten fixed bus routes Monday thru Friday with limited Saturday service. There are currently over twenty two hundred fixed route bus stops within Schuylkill County. STS provided approximately 200,000 fixed route rides during the 2014-2015 year.

STS and CACL Financial are excited to unveil this project to Schuylkill County.

According to Dave Bekisz, STS Executive Director, “It is a great way to take advantage of the many miles that these vehicles travel on a daily basis within Schuylkill County, while honoring both our Country and our Armed Forces. We hope that everyone will enjoy seeing them.”
