Freezing Rain Advisory Issued for Early Tuesday

(01/16/17) The National Weather Service has issued a Freezing Rain Advisory for early Tuesday.

FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 10 AM EST TUESDAY...

 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE HAS ISSUED A FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 10 AM EST TUESDAY.

 * LIGHT FREEZING RAIN DEVELOPING LATE TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING. 

 * ICE ACCUMULATION OF A LIGHT GLAZE TO FEW HUNDRETHS OF AN INCH. 

 * ICY SPOTS ON UNTREATED ROADS WILL RESULT IN AREAS OF HAZARDOUS TRAVEL. SIDEWALKS AND PARKING LOTS MAY ALSO BE SLIPPERY. 

 * LONGER COMMUTE TIMES EARLY TUESDAY MORNING WITH DELAYS POSSIBLE. 

 * FREEZING RAIN THREAT ENDS LATE TUESDAY MORNING AS TEMPERATURES RISE ABOVE 32 DEGREES.
