Ethel Mae Miller Perry, 83 of Pine Grove, passed away on Saturday morning, January 14, in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading.

Born on May 28, 1933, in Pine Grove, she was a daughter of Robert and Caroline "Carrie" Minnich Miller.

Ethel was the valedictorian of the Pine Grove High School Class of 1951. She graduated from Central Penn Business School and the Chicago Dental Assistant School and had been employed as a dental assistant/secretary.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Friedensburg. Ethel was a past matron of the former Mary E. Moore Chapter OES, Pine Grove and a member the Schuylkill Haven Exerettes.

Preceding her in death were a Son, Jon Carmine Perry, on November 7, 2002, brothers and sisters, Phaon, Banche, Florence, Mamie and Guy.

Surviving are her Husband of 59 years, Dr. Jackson G Perry, two Daughters, Jayne wife of Fred Ditzler of Lebanon, Janis Lynn wife of Michael Shestok of Pine Grove; four Grandchildren, Matthew, Todd, Jessie, Jensen; and one great granddaughter, Madelyn.

Funeral services will be held at H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc.,on Thursday, January 19, at 11:00 am. 17963. Friends will be received Wednesday, January 18, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm and from 10:00 until time of service on Thursday, at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will follow in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove, PA .

Eleanor “Ellie” Lorraine (Clauser) Biltheiser, 86, of Pottsville, passed away Friday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Pottsville, July 29, 1930, she was the daughter of the late William C. and Ruth F. Fuller Clauser.

She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Pottsville.

Eleanor enjoyed Bowling in her younger years and was an active member of the Yorkville Hose Co., Pottsville. She was well loved and very fond of her nieces, nephews, god daughters, and she was a mother to many.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Bartholomew Biltheiser, brothers, William W. and Robert L. Clauser; and sister, Dr. Dorothy “Dottie” Clauser Moyer.

She is survived by brother, George C. Clauser husband of Elizabeth Clauser, Shamokin Dam; sister, Helen Clauser Rudy wife of Holland R. Rudy, Middletown, NJ; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11a.m. at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 W. Market St., Pottsville, Pastor James R. Fidler, Off. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 9a.m. till the time of the service. Interment will be held in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
