Landline Phone Exchanges to Be Affected Overnight

The Schuylkill County Office of Emergency Management announced Monday that certain phone exchanges will lose service for a period of time overnight into Tuesday.


SCOEM reported that the following landline exchanges will experience a short period of interruption at 11:00pm, Monday.

• 739
• 345

SCOEM advises anyone that may need to call 911 that they can still use a cell phone since wireless
service will not be affected.
