Winter Weather Advisory Issued Through This Evening; Winter Storm Warning Canceled

(03/14/17) The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory and cancelled the previously issued Winter Storm Warning.


...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING...
...WINTER STORM WARNING IS CANCELLED...

The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Snow, which is in effect until 8 PM EDT this evening. The Winter Storm Warning has been cancelled.

* HAZARDS...Snow.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...Additional accumulations will only be 3
  inches or less through the rest of the day.

* TIMING...Light constant snow will taper off to mainly flurries
  late this afternoon and early this evening.

* WIND...The northwest wind of 10 to 15 mph will gust into the 20s
  at times.

* IMPACTS...The snow will lead to snow covered roads. Strong winds
  will create blowing snow, reduced visibility, and snow drifts.

Southern Clinton-Southern Lycoming-Union-Snyder-Montour-
Northumberland-Columbia-Schuylkill-
Including the cities of Coudersport, Renovo, Mansfield,
Wellsboro, Trout Run, Laporte, Lock Haven, Williamsport,
Lewisburg, Selinsgrove, Danville, Sunbury, Shamokin, Bloomsburg,
Berwick, and Pottsville
