Petal Pushers Holds Grand Opening

Petal Pushers Floral Company held their grand opening on Friday, April 7 at their new location at the Hometown Village Square in Hometown.

After nearly two decades of running her floral company as a side business out of her home, Kathy Schock chose to retire from her job as an office manager at Lehigh Valley Physician Group to pursue her passion for floral design full-time. Along with her husband and co-owner, Joel Essington, they opened Petal Pushers Floral Company at Hometown Village Square in December 2016. Petal Pushers specializes in unusual fresh flowers for any occasion, including weddings, anniversaries, funerals, formals, and birthdays. In addition, the shop offers handmade wreaths, home decor, balloons, and houseplants.

Petal Pushers is a full-service floral shop, with delivery in the Tamaqua, Burnsville, Schuylkill Township, Walker Township, Lake Hauto, and Panther Valley areas. Hours are Monday through Friday from 10-5, and Saturday 10-2.
