Vanessa E. Willon, 32, Mahanoy City, passed away unexpectedly Saturday at home.

Born in Wilmington, DE, she was a daughter of Victoria ( Crossan ) Willon, Elkton, MD and the late Rodney Willon.

She was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her mother Vanessa is survived by a son and daughter; Matthew Hodel Jr. and Shyanne Cerroni both of Mahanoy City, PA, her sister Valerie wife of Kevin Davis, Middletown, DE, her companion Matthew Hodel, Mahanoy City, PA and by nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Ricky A. Ney, Sr., 55, of Mifflin St., Pine Grove, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017 in Lebanon County.

Born on May 21, 1961 in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Lester and Emily Blankenhorn Ney.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Summer Hill.

Ricky was Pro Dart Shooter and was a 4 time US Dart Champion

Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Lynn Celep Ney; a son, Ricky Jr. and wife Christie Ney of Tremont; a daughter Wendy and husband Mark Kuhns of Tower City; four grandchildren, Brittney and Cory Buchanan, Derick and Drew Ney; aunts, uncles and cousins.

All Services will be held at the convenience of the family at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Rev. Kathleen Ash-Flashner officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions may be made to Squadron 374 Sons of the American Legion (checks payable to S.A.L. 374), 22 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 in his memory.

Theresa M. (Sherpensky) O’Boyle, 66, of Shenandoah, passed away early Sunday morning at Shenandoah Senior Living Community.

Born in Shenandoah, Jan. 5, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy (Vatalare) Sherpensky.

She was a 1968 graduate of the former Shenandoah Catholic High School and also attended technical training school in Philadelphia for computer programming.

On Sept. 18, 1971, in the former St. George Church, Shenandoah, she married James A. “Shine” O’Boyle, who survives.

Theresa retired as a machine operator from Tri-State Envelope Corp., Ashland.

She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, formerly St. George Church, and Glover’s Hill Athletic Club Ladies Auxiliary, all of Shenandoah.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were two aunts, Rose “Effie” Shafransky and Carmella Toborowski.

Surviving, in addition to her husband of 45 years, James A. “Shine” O’Boyle, are two sons, Jason O’Boyle, Conshohocken, and Kevin O’Boyle, Shenandoah; an aunt, Catherine Toborowski, Shenandoah Heights; cousins and many friends.

Religious services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be held at a later date. Relatives and friends may call from 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, Shenandoah, is in charge of the arrangements.

Russell G. Sincavage, 83, of Big Mine Run, Ashland, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 8th, 2107, at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Russell was born in Frackville, on July 23, 1933, a son of the late Mary (Kudlick) and Joseph Sincavage. After graduating high school, he served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps.

He was retired having worked for the Bureau of Forestry as a forest fire warden for 65 years, of which 42 of those years were spent as an inspector.

An avid trapper, hunter and fisherman, Russell was also a member of both the Park Crest and Shenandoah Fish and Game Clubs, and was a member of the former Polish National Church in Shenandoah.

Russell had a smile and laugh that was contagious.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Florence E. Davis and Patricia Birmingham.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, of Connie (Savitsky) Sincavage, and by their sons, Russell Jr., Scott and his wife Carol, and Lee. His sister, Violet Davis survives, as does three grandchildren, Crystal, Tyler and Paige, along with nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street Ringtown, at 5 PM on Wednesday, April 12th, with Rev. Robert Plichta officiating. Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing immediately following the service on Wednesday evening until 7 PM.

Russell's family asks relatives and friends to celebrate and remember the man who could always put a smile on their faces and love in their hearts.
