A man that police say robbed a bank near Frackville is reportedly in custody.

The Republican Herald is reporting that Larry Dettery, 38, of 34 West Penn Street, Shenandoah was taken into custody over night by West Mahanoy Township Police for the robbery of the Minersville Bank in West Mahanoy, near Frackville, on Friday.

Dettery was locked up in Schuylkill County Prison unable to post $75,000 bail.

The teller handed the suspect an unknown amount of money, then the suspect fled the scene on foot onto Spruce Street.
