Department of State Announces Disciplinary Actions Against Licensed, Commissioned Professionals in Schuylkill County

On Thursday, The Pennsylvania Department of State announced that it filed disciplinary actions against 2 licensed or commissioned professionals from Schuylkill County during the month of April.


PA Board of Cosmetology (05/01/17) Victoria Rodriguez, of Cressona, Schuylkill County, was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $1,000 because she was practicing cosmetology without a current and active license. 

PA Board of Nursing (04/20/17)  - Mary Beth Strohl, of Pottsville, Schuylkill County, was indefinitely suspended for no less than three (3) years to be immediately stayed in favor of no less than three (3) years of probation, because she is unable to practice professional nursing with reasonable skill and safety by reason of mental or physical illness or condition or dependence upon alcohol, hallucinogenic or narcotic drugs or other drugs which tend to impair judgment or coordination.
