Police Looking for Driver Involved in Hit and Run Early Monday

Police are looking for a driver that was involved in a hit and run early Monday.


According to the Pennsylvania State Police, on Monday morning around 2:30am, a Toyota Pickup, of unknown color, was travelling north on Main Street in Ringtown.

Police say in the area of 38-42 Main Street, the vehicle drove outside the northbound lane and struck the rear of a 2005 blue Subaru Baja, pushing it into a second vehicle, a 2014 Toyota Rav4. 

The Subaru sustained major damage, the Toyota Rav4 sustained moderate damage.  Both vehicles were owned by Jennifer Karpovich, Ringtown.

The pickup truck sustained moderate damage to the front bumper, hood and grill, then fled the scene.

Anyone with information concerning the investigation or the possible identity of the driver of the Toyota Pickup is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville in reference to incident #PA2017-493546.
