Mahanoy City Woman Found Guilty of Killing 15 Month Old

A Mahanoy City woman was found guilty on Wednesday for the killing of a 15 month old in January of 2016.


In February of 2016, Pietrina C Hoffman, 54,   was charged for the death of 15 month old , Navaeh Doyle on January 10th, 2016.

An autopsy showed the child died due to asphyxia by suffocation. 

Hoffman was charged by Mahanoy City Police with Criminal Homicide, Aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of children, recklessly endangering another, persons not to possess firearms, possession of drug paraphernalia, and prohibited weapons. 

On Wednesday a jury found Williams guilty on all but the weapons charges.
