According to authorities, Roy Honaker, 41, of Pottsville was stopped on Museum Road in Reading for operating a stolen vehicle.
During the traffic stop, Honaker gave police a false ID and also resisted arrest. Honaker was also found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The vehicle that Honaker was found to be driving was a vehicle reported stolen to the Saint Clair Police.
The State Police at Reading charged Roy L. Honaker, 41, of Pottsville with receiving stolen property, resisting arrest, possessing marijuana, providing false identification to police and driving with a suspended license. He was committed to Berks County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail following arraignment before Magisterial District Judge Paul J. Hadzick in Reading Central Court.
Honaker was also wanted on a warrant for a parole violation.
