Gregg J. Boyle, Sr., 85 years of age, of East Broad Street, Tamaqua, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale, Pennsylvania.

Survived by his son, Gregg J. Boyle, Jr. of Tamaqua; grand daughter. Emily D. Bernetskie and her husband Jason of Camp Hill.

Gregg was a 1950 graduate of Tamaqua High School, and served honorably in the United States Navy. He worked for many years at the former Atlas Powder Co. of Reynolds. A member of the East End Fire Company, Gregg was past secretary/ treasurer of the fire company. He enjoyed bowling.

Born Thursday, July 21, 1932 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania, the son of the late James B., and Alva V. (Helps) Boyle. Gregg was also predeceased by his wife Diane Louise (Krell) Boyle; infant daughter, Melissa Ann Boyle; infant son, Keith Robert Boyle.

A grave-side remembrance service with Military Honors will be held on Thursday August, 24, 2017 at 10 o'clock A.M. from St. Jerome R.C.C. Cemetery, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.

Kenneth A. Young, 85, of Deturksville Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017 at home.
Born on October 23, 1931 in Ravine, he was a son of the late George and Beulah Knight Young.
He was an Army veteran during the Korean Conflict having served with the 121st Transportation Truck Co. and was in the National Guards until 1985.
Kenneth worked as a Mechanic at Indiantown Gap.
He was a member of St. Peter's United church of Christ in Pine Grove. He was a member of the Pine Grove Masonic Lodge #409 F. & A. M., the Rajah Shrine and the Scottish Rite, both in Reading, and the Schuylkill Shrine Club of Schuylkill Haven. He was a member of the Pine Grove V. F. W. Post #3432, the American Legion #28 and the Amvets #2 both in Delaware. He loved hunting, fishing, traveling and boating..
Preceding him in death was a great grandson Cole Wolfgang; two brothers, George and John Young; two sisters Neida Lengle and Alice Young.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Shirley A. Yoder Young; three daughters, Sandra wife of Jim Degler of Emporium, Roxanne Kelly, Lori wife of Barry Goodson, both of Pine Grove; 6 grandchildren, Christopher and wife Hillary Degler, Valerie and husband Shane Imschweiler, Robert and wife Jennifer Wolfgang, Tamara and husband Dr. Jordan Miller, Robert Dannenhower, Alicia Dannenhower; 8 great-grandchildren, Hunter, Aspen and Braxton Degler, Madisyn and Zachary Imschweiler, Leah, Chase and Ava Wolfgang.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Pastor Jason Stump officiating. There will be a calling time on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Shriners Children Hospital, 3551 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, Pa. 19140, in his memory.

Paul Zimmerman, Jr. 84, of Ringtown, passed away Friday, August 18th, 2017.

Paul was born in Ashland on June 21, 1933, a son of the late Lorraine (Moyer) and Paul Zimmerman, Sr.

He attended local schools, then worked as a pipe fitter for Bechtel Construction, and was member of the Steamfitters Union Local 524.

He was a member of and enjoyed feeding the ducks at the Shenandoah Fish and Game Club, and also belonged to the Ringtown Fire Company. He was also a member of St. Mary's Church in Ringtown.

Paul had a passion for antique automobiles, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Paul in 1962 and a brother Dale in 1988.

Paul was also preceded in death by his first wife Charlotte (Rogers) in 1965, and by his second wife Rose (Caufield) in 2011.

He is survived by two daughters, Paula, wife of John Martin, of Revere, MA and Dr. Anne, wife of Michael Cadau, of Wyomissing. Four grandchildren, Mickayla, Jack, Joseph and William Ambarian survive, as does a brother, Don Zimmerman and his wife Enes of Reading along with nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, North Center Street, Ringtown, at 11 AM on Monday, August 21st, 2017 with Father Brian Miller officiating. Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing Sunday evening from 6-8 PM and again on Monday morning from 10-10:45 AM at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown.

Paul will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in Ringtown, following the mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church, North Center Street Ringtown, PA 17967.
