The Alumni Game, which was organized by Alumni Football USA kicked off at 7:00pm at Shenandoah Valley's Memorial Stadium.
In total 51 competed, with 27 players for Shenandoah Valley and 24 for Mahanoy Area. The full contact game felt just like a regular Friday night as crowds arrived at the stadium. A heavy downpour during the 2nd Quarter didn't stop the action.
The game was back and forth most of the game and a late drive in the 4th quarter by Shenandoah Valley almost tied the game but Mahanoy Area pulled out the win 14-7.
After the game, players from both sides met on the 50 yard line where they shook hands, laughed, and made jokes about playing again next year and ended the game with a prayer.
