Man Wanted on Assault and Robbery Charges After Leaving Victim Bleeding with Head Injuries

A man is wanted by Police for assaulting a woman so badly that he left her bloodied and with head injuries.

On Wednesday, 08/30/17 just before 2:00am, PSP Frackville Troopers responded to a female who was assaulted in the area of Girard Manor Rd. and Phineyville Rd. East Union Twp.

Upon arrival, troopers observed a female at a residence bleeding from the head. They observed facial wounds around her eyes, to her forehead and to the back of her head. A large amount of dried blood covered her hair and clothing.

 It was determined the victim was driven to the above location by Anthony Michael Romano and an unknown female. The accused then began to assault the victim by punching her in the face several times.

The assault continued when the accused struck the victim in head with a metal object several times.

The accused stole money and electronic items (Apple Iphone, Apple tablet, Lenovo tablet) from the victim. The unknown female assisted in the robbery by holding down the victim while the accused stole the items.

The accused an unknown female fled the scene in a white sedan, leaving the victim bleeding with numerous head wounds.

The victim wandered on the roadway looking for help.

She walked for approximately two hours until she came across a residence at Phineyville Rd. and Girard Manor Rd. She summoned help from the owner of the residence.

She was transported to LVHN Schuylkill East for treatment on numerous injuries.

An arrest warrant was obtained for the accused through Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker. He was charged with Aggravated Assault, Robbery, Theft by Unlawful Taking, Receiving Stolen Property, Unlawful Restraint, Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats and Reckless Endangering Another Person.

The accused is possibly in the Shenandoah/Frackville area.
