Christian Zamudio, 20, of Gordon, PA, passed away Wednesday, September 27th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Allentown.

Known to his friends as “CZ”, Christian was born in Hazleton, PA on January 23, 1997, a son of Sally (Koons) Dreher and Efrain Zamudio

Christian was an avid reader, and loved classic movies and anything cinema. He was also very artistic and loved to paint. He enjoyed Skate Boarding with his friends.

He Graduated from North Schuylkill High School class of 2015. He was currently attending Lehigh Carbon Community College, majoring in Arts & Cinema.

Christian is survived by a brother, Joseph Koons, of Gordon. Survived also by Paternal Grand parents Jose and Reyna Zamudio of Shenandoah. Maternal Grand parents William and Sally Koons of Shenandoah Heights. Aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial Service at Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Mahanoy City at 7 PM on Thursday, October 5th, with Jack Murry officiating.

Friends may call Thursday 5 to 8 PM at the Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. Mahanoy City.

Family prefers donations to the Ashland Library and can be made at the funeral home.

Gregory Jensolowsky, 47, of Shenandoah, passed away Wednesday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street.

Born in Shenandoah, June 24, 1970, he was a son of the late Zigmond “Ziggy” and Lor-raine Banonis Jensolowsky.

He was a 1988 graduate of Shenandoah Valley High School.

Greg worked as a truck driver in various industries including commercial transportation and local anthracite.

He was a member of the former Polish National Catholic Church, Shenandoah.

Greg was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife of 11 years, whom he truly loved, the former Andrea Yashinsky; his stepdaughter, Amber Buehler and her husband, Josh, Burke, Va.; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. The Rev. Robert Plichta will officiate. Interment will follow in Calvary Hill Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. Relatives and friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, Shenandoah, is in charge of the arrangements.

Gary R. Bair, 56, of Sweet Arrow Lake Road, Pine Grove, passed away Friday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Germany, February 7, 1961, a son of the late Ray and Anneliese Ruhl Bair.

Before becoming ill, Gary was a coal miner.

He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing.   He was predeceased by a step-brother, John Bair.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Jane Catherman Bair;  three daughters, Teresa Rich (Alfred), Elizabeth Gibson and Bobby Jo Hoffman all of Pine Grove; 11 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren;  sister  Lisa Bair Dorson (Daniel), Lykens; brother Ed Jones (Sue), Tower City; Step brothers, Ray and Clinton Bair both of Shippensburg.  Nieces and nephews.

Ray C. "Red" Lesher, 88, of Taylorsville, passed away peacefully, Friday, September 29, 2017

Ray was born in Taylorsville, on December 8, 1928, a son of the late Alma M. (Bolich) and Raymond F. Lesher.

He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany .

He was a lifelong farmer, starting with produce and later dairy.

He was a member of Christ's United Lutheran Church, Ashland, PA .

He was also a life member of the Lavelle Volunteer Fire Company and a member of the VFW Post 7654 of Ashland.

He was the husband of Dolores (Marhon) Lesher; they were married March 13, 1954.

Ray is also survived by two daughters, Susan, wife of Randy Lettich, of Valley View; Marlene, wife of Roger Herb, of Hegins; a son,Dean, husband of Tammy (Haas) Lesher, of Ashalnd; four grandchildren; Randy and Ryan Lettich, Robyn Wertz and Deana Lesher; and two step grandchildren Allison and Bryon Rusinko; two great grandchildren, Radley and Rayce Lettich; a sister, Nancy Kessler, of Ashland.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 10 AM - 12 Noon at Christ's United Lutheran Church, Airport Road, Ashland, PA where the Funeral Service will follow at 12 Noon with Pastor Mark Galbraith officiating.

Interment will follow in St. John "Kimmel's" Cemetery, Ashland.
