Video Captures Moment Train and Car Collide in Jim Thorpe

A video posted to Youtube shows the moment that a car and a train collided in Jim Thorpe on Monday.

The 425 Reading and Northern steam engine hit a SUV crossing the tracks in Jim Thorpe late Monday morning.

No one was reported to have been injured in the incident.

Police from the Reading Blue Mountain and Northern Railroad were reported to have been on scene with Jim Thorpe Police to investigate.

In the video the train is clearly blowing it's whistle when the SUV pulls in front of the train then stops.

The incident happened at the entrance to the Carbon County Parking Lot.
