Crash Knocks Out Power in Areas of Hometown

Just after 12:30pm, Monday, a crash occurred in Hometown, Rush Township which has knocked out power in the area.


The crash involved a vehicle that sheered a utility pole and has knocked out power to the red light at the Route 309 intersection as well as about 50 residents in the area.

As of 1:00pm, crews are at the scene.

PPL states power should be restored by 4:00pm.
