Frost Advisory Issued for Early Friday Morning

The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for Schuylkill County and other counties in Pennsylvania.


FROST ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 9 AM EDT
FRIDAY...

The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Frost Advisory, which is in effect from midnight tonight to 9 AM EDT Friday.

* TEMPERATURES...Temperatures will fall into the mid and upper 30s around midnight tonight, then settle into the low to mid 30s for up to several hours around sunrise Friday. If skies remain
clear throughout the night, some of the typically colder rural  areas will see temperatures as cold as 30 degrees.

* TIMING...Areas of frost will form first in the colder rural valleys around midnight, then expand across the Advisory area through the predawn hours.

* IMPACTS...Damage to sensitive vegetation and potted plants.

Those with agricultural or gardening interests should protect sensitive vegetation. Potted plants should be brought indoors.

Huntingdon-Mifflin-Juniata-Fulton-Franklin-Southern Clinton-
Southern Lycoming-Union-Snyder-Montour-Northumberland-Columbia-
Perry-Dauphin-Schuylkill-Lebanon-Cumberland-Adams-York-Lancaster
