James D Timmons, age 49, of Valley View, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017, in Germantown MD.

He was born on Tuesday, August 27, 1968, in Winston Salem, NC.

James was an electrician for Boyland Electric, Laytonsville, MD.

He was a member of the Valley View Gun Club, American Legion Post 575 and VFW Post 8237, both of Valley View.

James enjoyed reading James Patterson books, listening to music, reading DC Comics, and working.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Donna Hyde Peirce of Utah.

He is survived by his wife Jaime S Neumeister Timmons, to whom he was married for 5 years.

He is also survived by a daughter, Chelsea Timmons of Germantown, MD; two sons, Kevin Walsh of Germantown, MD, and Joseph Walsh and his fiancé Bethany Desmaris of Germantown, MD; a grandson, Joseph Jerome Walsh of Germantown, MD; a step son, Gavin Nouzovsky of Valley View; an aunt, Deila Lanstorm of Utah; an uncle, Chris Peirce of Utah; mother in law, Roseanne Barr and her companion James Masser of Valley View; father in law, Randall Barr and his companion Sally Kissinger of Gratz; grandmother in law Alberta Dancho of Locust Gap; four brother in laws, Chad Schlegel and his wife Amy of Lavelle, Brandon Barr and his companion Tabitha Kroh of Ashland, Cody Barr of Ashland, and Nathan Barr and his fiancé Nicole Yoder of Valley View; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at 1:00 pm, with Rev. Brian Beissel officiating.

There will be no visitation prior to the service.

Helen M. Schuetrumpf, 96 years of age of Rowe Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017, at Orwigsburg Center in Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania. 

The widow of Claude W. Schuetrumpf who died on September 24, 2000 she is survived by; sons, Stephen C. Schuetrumpf and his wife Marilyn, of Brighton, TN, Robert G. Schuetrumpf and his wife Linda of Schuylkill Haven, James W. Schuetrumpf and his wife Susan of Quakake, Carl D. Schuetrumpf and his wife Mary Ellen of Lancaster; daughters, Susan A. Schuetrumpf of Deluth, GA and Sandra A. Petruso of Mainville, OH; 10 grand children; 8 great grandchildren. 

Born Saturday, January 22, 1921 in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late John, and Anna (Gribbin) Allison. Helen was also predeceased by sister, Louise Shellhamer, Sister Marie Aquinas, and Mary Gaughan; brothers, Charles, Edward, Ernest, William, Stephen, Gilbert, and John Allison. 

A 1938 graduate of Tamaqua High School, Helen matriculated to Kutztown Teachers College graduating in 1942. Helen taught third grade for seventeen year at the former North Ward School in Tamaqua before retiring in 1982 from the Tamaqua Elementary School. A memebr of St. John XXIII R.C.C. of Tamaqua, and the Tamaqua Legion Auxiliary. Helen was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting.

A MAss of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday October 28, 2017 at 10 o'clock A.M. from SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. 301 Pine street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252. 

Freinds may call on Friday evening October 27, 2017 at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 P.M.

No morning calling. 

Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Tamaqua.

Bienvenido Batista Montero, 80 of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania died on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at Hometown Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr 

Born Monday, August 16, 1937in the Dominican Republic the son of the late Augustine, and Claudine Batista Montero. He is survived by six children, and his extended family
